This segment identifies HCPs who have recently begun to prescribe your Target Product or are predicted to start prescribing it in the near future. This segment uses TRx data to identify any and all script behavior.

A Recent Starter is an HCP who has started prescribing your Target Product in the last 3 months, but was not prescribing it in the 9 months prior to that (if at all).

A Predicted Starter is identified using look-alike modeling. Look-alike modeling matches the characteristics of HCPs already prescribing your Target Product with ones who are not. If a good match is found, the system will identify the HCP as a Predicted Starter.

This predictive segment is not time based like the other segments, but rather, represents a group of untapped HCPs similar to your existing customers.
