The MAPTUAL PowerScore is a proprietary value that incorporates the often overwhelming amount of data needed to understand an HCP’s journey and distills it into a number from 10 to 0. A PowerScore illustrates, at a glance, an HCP’s propensity to drive a brand’s business strategy or current goals.
What Goes Into a PowerScore?
PowerScores are generated using Rx data for the target product, competitors, precursor products (where applicable), market shares, and additional data points generated by ODAIA such as predicted Rx values and behavioral segments. These sources are brought together to dynamically understand the likelihood and opportunity each HCP has to support a brand’s objectives.
⚠️ Note: PowerScores are calculated independently for each HCP and each product or indication. The values are then re-scaled within each geographical selection. This means that an HCP's PowerScore may change as you move between products, indications, or geographies.
What is a Product PowerScore?
A Product PowerScore encompasses the entire value of a PowerScore while refining it to reflect an HCP’s propensity to support a brand’s objective for one specific product or indication.
On the HCP Page, you can toggle between Product PowerScores to see the relevant insights, volume, and share information for that unique product or indication selection.
What is an Overall PowerScore?
An Overall PowerScore is calculated by aggregating the Product PowerScores for each HCP and then re-scaling these combined PowerScores for each region. This means that an HCP’s Overall PowerScore represents their value across multiple products or indications in your portfolio relative to other HCPs in the territory. Due to the consideration of the whole territory and the re-scaling of PowerScores required to achieve this, the Overall PowerScore is not just an average of an HCP’s Product PowerScores.
What is the Score Changed Segment?
An HCP’s PowerScore Change is denoted by a +/- followed by the numerical change and can be seen directly below their PowerScore in the PowerList. Changes are subject to occur upon new data ingests as the algorithms are loaded with new information.
To filter your PowerList for HCPs whose scores have changed, select the Score Changed Segment.
Where can I find this?
A PowerScore is the encircled number to the right of an HCP’s name in the PowerList as well as on the HCP Page in MAPTUAL Field. You may also use the PowerScore drop-down menu to toggle between Overall PowerScores and Product PowerScores depending on your needs.
